Last Thursday the 16th we left here about 1000 to head for Plymouth, CA to spend the weekend with John and Karen at 49er RV Park. That's John's home away from home during the week where he's working. 

We got there around 1400 and hot temps. John actually got home while we were setting up. 

Here's "The Midget" at camp. She looks so little, but
inside we've got everything we need!

We've got a bar instead of dinette.

Headed across the  way and spent the afternoon and evening visiting and eating! We all ordered some of the best pizza ever from a little grocery store down the road a bit. We didn't stay too late as John had to work on Friday. 

Friday morning we met with Karen and headed to the town of Placerville, CA for some shopping in Old Town. It's only a little over 20 miles from Plymouth but on some winding roads so takes a little longer. We watched her spend some money, but nothing jumped at us! LOL.

We spent a few hours just looking around antique shops, thrift stores etc. Exactly what you would think a thriving old town looks like. 

After that, we found Harbor Freight and Ken and Karen found a few things they were looking for. Then on to lunch! Great meal at Casa Los Abuelos near Placerville. 

Later that evening Erin (Adam's fiancee) came to visit and have dinner with us. 😋 Always love to see her when we can. Adam's still on the Elephant Fire so he wasn't able to come. Hopefully he'll be home this Saturday. Karen had gotten shish kabobs to barbecue from the store where she got the pizza and they were amazing too.

One evening the park had live music so we walked over to
listen for a bit. 

Saturday, Ken and I started Champagne Saturday since we wouldn't be home on Sunday. It didn't last that long but was still nice. Erin came over later in the day and shared chicken and hot links with all of us.

Sunday morning John, Karen, Ken and I went to breakfast at a little diner we went to the last time we visited. Then it was time for us to say goodbye. We really enjoyed our weekend with them! 

We got home cleared out what we needed and called it a day. That's what tomorrow is for, to finish up. 

Monday and Tuesday were spent at home mostly just getting some things done. Best time is in the morning as the afternoon's are HOT! 

Wednesday we ran to Carson City as Ken had an appointment with a new doctor to take a look at his wrist. He's a surgeon, but hoping it doesn't come to that. For now a steroid shot and a splint. He goes back in 3 weeks. 

After that, Total Wine, Walmart, Ross and Lowe's. I brought some small sandwiches with us and then we stopped at our favorite Chinese place in Dayton to pick up dinner to go. 

Once we got everything unloaded we headed next door for Karen's granddaughter Sophia's 11th birthday. Enjoyed a few hours and home to finish the evening with our delicious Chinese dinner. 

Ken helped Karen for a bit Thursday morning while I did cleaning and laundry. 

Once Ken got home we headed for the place where Night In The Country is being held Thursday until Sunday. You'll see thousands of wanna be cowgirls and cowboys in our little town of just over 3,000. Took the CAN AM and wow it's amazing how they fit all these RV's and tents in this piece of property. Thursday night  music is Shenandoah and Phil Vassar. Guessing most of these 20 somethings will not know who these are. I do LOL. The only other one I know for Friday night is Priscillia Block only because she sang with Justin Moore 💖 my favorite Arkansas boy! The rest of them, no idea.

trucks will fill them! They need it as it's 100 degrees today!

I ran to Raley's in town today. They had one checkout open and one person at self check out. Whoever does their scheduling needs to be fired! The biggest event of the year and one checkout! Lots of cowgirls in town 😂

Allissa (Jacob's sweetie) is home from San Diego for a bit. She's invited us  and Russell and Lori over to her parents house for a barbecue so we can meet our great grand puppy, Burt. So over the hill we go to Antelope on Sunday. Excited to see Allissa too! 💖😊

Champagne Saturday tomorrow since we won't be home Sunday. Just about time for a stock tank dip I'm thinking! Have a great night! 🍻🍷
