Zentrum Museum and BMW Factory Tour

The Zentrum Museum is on the grounds of the only BMW assembly plant in the United States. The plant makes approximately 1,500 vehicles per day, more than any other BMW plant worldwide. It's had seventh major expansions, covers 1,150 acres, and employs 11,000 people. It's big place!  

The museum showcases some of the rare and innovative BMWs along with new models. A little bit of the history of the company is included. We were too late for the tour but a short video shows much of what is covered in the tour. 

 This is a 2004 BMW XM Label, a plug-in hybid SUV, that costs $185,000!

The museum is accessible. There are two tours but only the shorter one is accessible.The longer one uses a bus that does not have a lift. The museum is free but there's a charge for the tours.

Drive through the employees lot to get to the museum lot. Any vehicle will fit in the lot if parked lengthwise through the spaces.  Museum  34.88965, -82.17535
