Sacred Heart Catholic Church

   This pretty little stucco church that looks like it belongs in southern California Spanish mission sits high on a hill above the rolling plains of northern Montana. It’s part of the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation and even though the church is abandoned and boarded up the cemetery is still in use.

   I searched for over an hour and found very little information so I don’t know when it was built or when it was boarded up but I think it may have been founded by the Jesuits.  It’s known as the pink church by locals. 48.44857, -108.65872
